Field of Blood...

We are Christians.
With a theology which is the salt to our every day life. A theology that, as Walter Benjamin put it, will be another inspiration for the revolutionary tools and means of the competitive movement. With no closed dogmas, without being sclerotic, we desire to realize, hic et nunc, the communalistic values of early Christianity in the labyrinth of the contemporary urban metropolis. We are looking forward to a messianic and redemptive afterlife only because we regard it as a space-time evolution of the struggle we give on a daily, earthly basis. A struggle against spiritual, physical, social and financial exploitation, against the armies of “Church S.A.”, against every kind of authority which, inescapably, leads to the abolition of freedom, self - definition and dignity...

We are Anarchists.
Fighting in order to make solidarity, equality, participation, comradeship and freedom the “starting point” and “destination” of every of our actions. We hope to offer our component to the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement in order to reinforce the resultant which seeks no enduring, whitewashing and reforming reality. But which will make the present a field of truth and life via a bakunist creative destruction, a nietzschean transvaluation of values and an originally Christian conception of the past and the future...

Akeldama: Field of Blood...
Bought by the chief priests with the pieces of silver that led to the disgraceful arrest of Jesus. Destined to become the burial place of the “aliens”, the “others”, those who stand outside the Mosaic Law, those who are the res nullius of the Roman Law, those who are the “enemy”. The political, social and symbolic meaning of this very field can also be found in today’s reality. Prisons, post-modern urban centres, schools, military service, working environments and so many other things are nothing but the contemporary fields of blood that every authority bought - by selling the messianic community of the crucified, embodied Logos - in order to place all “Prometheus” who threaten to steal the fire that will finally burn it down, in favour of a heavenly life. The Field of Blood, however, has an additional dimension which appears to be ironic as far as the plans of the authoritarian technicians are concerned: this field becomes the place that will receive the demolished bodies of this urban aquarium’s pariahs, the bodies of all the outcasts who by being politically active have been waiting for their resurrection into the light of the One who made this resurrection possible with His blood…
